Contacts All your email contacts are stored under Contacts. Click Mail in the top left corner of your page, then select Contacts to access and edit your contacts' information.

Labels help you organize your messages into any categories: work, family, to do, read later, jokes, recipes, any category you want. Labels do all the work that folders do, but with an added bonus: you can add more than one to a message.

Alternatively you may access these options by Selecting Manage Labels or Create new label in the left side bar.
Filters
Gmail's filters allow you to manage the flow of incoming messages. Using filters, you can automatically label, archive, delete, star, or forward your mail, even keep it out of Spam.

Labs While labs are still experimental, there are some great features you can take advantage of. Therefore, keep the following things in mind:
They may break at any time.
Similarly, they may disappear temporarily or permanently.
They may work so well that they graduate and become regular features.
If you are having trouble with a lab, disable and re-enable to get it started again.
1) Click on the gear icon to get the Gmail Settings:

2) Select the 'Labs' tab and identify the labs you want to enable. 3) Click the 'Enable' radio button to turn on a lab and click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page. Your page may refresh but after the refresh, the lab you just turned on will be available in Gmail.

General recommended labs are:
-Add any Gadget by URL Once you enable this lab, if you click on the gear icon, then Settings you will find a button called Gadgets in the tabs list. If you click on this button it will allow you to add a Gadget to your mailing window (usually located at the bottom left or your screen).
